Mark Buwalda is responsible for Cognizant Sales in Africa. He originates from The Netherlands, but already lives 20 years in South Africa and joined Cognizant 4 years ago. Cognizant has established a dependable reputation within the African financial sector with high profile deliveries while working both on-site as well as off-shore. While Cognizant has a wide services portfolio on offer, the African focus is on core banking implementations and upgrades, Digital and automated testing. Mark´s career started at Deloitte, which took him from The Netherlands to the US and finally to South Africa. He holds an MBA from "The American University" based in Washington DC, USA. Mark is married and has 3 children.
